RIDE Council Resources

The Research, Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity (RIDE) Council is an initiative of the nonprofit organization Accelerated Cure Project (ACP). The RIDE Council’s focus is on increasing the diversity of ACP’s iConquerMS people-powered research network and providing resources to other research initiatives also seeking to diversify their study participation. The 28 Council members of the RIDE Council are people with MS belonging to racial, ethnic, and social groups that have been traditionally underrepresented in MS research, with a particular focus on the Black/African American and Hispanic/Latinx communities. Additional representation on the Council includes indigenous peoples, the LGBTQ+ community, Southeast Asian people, people with disabilities, people from rural communities, and veterans.

The following documents were put together by RIDE Council members and are intended to direct people affected by MS to resources that will help address some of the most common challenges we’ve discussed together as a council. Participation in the iConquerMS research network can be another great way to help contribute to generating knowledge that improves the lives of people affected by MS.
