People living with MS are the heart and soul of iConquerMS™.
iConquerMS™ is administered by the Accelerated Cure Project (ACP) for MS, a nonprofit organization dedicated to developing and sharing resources with MS researchers worldwide.
The governance of iConquerMS™ is achieved through a Governing Board, an Engagement Committee and a Research Committee. The majority of the members of the Board and Committees are people with MS — with expertise in areas appropriate for their governance responsibilities.
iConquerMS™ has been funded by the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI), and is part of PCORnet, a national clinical research network dedicated to patient-centric research.
iConquerMS™ is endorsed by major MS membership and advocacy organizations in the United States, including the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (NMSS), Multiple Sclerosis Foundation (MSF), Can Do Multiple Sclerosis (Can Do MS), the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America (MSAA) and the MS Coalition. Each of those advocacy organizations has at least one representative in the governance of the initiative.
